66 % of high school students received at least one admission proposal – Liberation
The first results of Parcoursup fell on Monday evening for candidates, high school students and reorientation students, who have been waiting for more than two months. Some « 66 % of high school students » received « At least one admission proposal » On the Post-Bac Parcoursup Post-Bac registration platform, the first responses of which fell on Monday evening, the Ministry of AFP said on Tuesday June 3. In total, « 2.67 million proposals were sent to candidates », added the ministry.
This year, they had until mid-March to register their wishes on the platform, then until April 2 to complete their file and confirm their choices.
Parcoursup, which succeeded in 2018 at APB, this year collected the wishes of 980,000 candidates in higher education, against 945,500 last year. Among them, the most numerous are high school students: there are 650,000, against 183,000 students wishing to change lanes.
Several responses are possible for each training: being accepted (yes), being accepted under condition (yes if, for university sectors that ask the student to follow an educational or personalized support path), be on the waiting list or be refused (only for selective sectors).
The main admission phase will last until July 10, the period during which the candidates will continue to receive answers. They are often on waiting lists, which can evolve quickly: you must therefore regularly consult Parcoursup.
This whole process remains conditioned on obtaining the BAC, the results of which will be communicated on July 4.
