600 years to investigate SPAK will never find a violation, the matter passes in Strasbour

The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, reacted to the decision to extend the deadline for the investigation against Ilir Meta, describing the decision as another evidence of « seized narcodiac ».

For him the extension of the investigation comes after six years of fruitless investigation into Meta who, according to him, has not produced any evidence or criminal fact. He added that the process has gone through a phase aimed at sending the case to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Blushi emphasized that keeping Meta’s « extreme isolation » for more than 8 months has been made without a judicial decision and no concrete evidence. He accused the SPAK as a structure operating by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

« Extension of the investigation deadline and holding in extreme isolation of 8 months, proves once again that in 32 years public service will never be able to find a proof and criminal fact against President Ilir Meta. They have investigated 6 years, but also for 600 others, if they investigate, will never find any evidence of the violation of the law and the Constitution by President Meta »Blushi said.

For him he emphasized that the extension of the deadline for the investigation and the continuation of keeping in extreme isolation without evidence and criminal facts is a continuation of political terror. « Next week, as lawyer Kujtim Cakrani announced, will be opposed to the arrest measure in the Constitutional Court. This appeal to the Constitutional Court is a final step to exhaust and exhausted all the internal procedures so that this case will arrive in Strasbourg as soon as possible and where Albania’s member itself will be stained. It is also a NATO member state. «
