55 Victims identified in research into a dentist from Wilrijk with ‘throat fetishism’: « Facts go back to 1998 » (Wilrijk)
In the judicial investigation around a 71-year-old dentist from Wilrijk, 55 women have since been identified as a victim. The Antwerp public prosecutor reports this. Dentist Carl S. appears again before the council chamber on Tuesday.
After a complaint with civil party setting at the end of 2024, an investigation was opened under the leadership of the investigating judge. The 71 -year -old dentist, who also worked in hospitals in Antwerp and Leuven, is said to have been abused on – at that time – three known victims during throat disinfects (a non -existent medical procedure).
At the beginning of April, the local investigation of the Antwerp police zone carried out a house search and the seventies was arrested by the investigating judge after ahead. Informative material was seized during the raid. Certain images show how the man performs sexually tinted actions in victims during the performance of his professional activity. There is a ‘throat fetishism’.
The public prosecutor made a call through the media to other victims who would have undergone the same facts.
« At the moment, 55 women have reported to the local investigation. The interrogations show that the facts are going back to 1998, » says the public prosecutor on Friday. « In addition to so -called throat disinfections, victims also speak of anal and vaginal examinations, touching breasts and buttocks and masturbation in the presence of patients. Some patients were treated under full anesthesia and fear that they have fallen victim to that way. That will be further investigated. »

The 71-year-old man is currently arrested in prison. The file will be dealt with by the council chamber on Tuesday 3 June.
