55 percent of the people in Austria fear the outbreak of a third World War. According to a representative online survey of the opinion research institute, you see peace in Europe most strongly threatened by the Russian attack war in Ukraine, but also current US politics and immigration. Only 16 percent would defend Austria militarily – including 27 percent of men and nine percent of women.
