53,000 envelopes with Greece’s votes yet to be read, Celibashi cancels the accreditation of party observers at the Olympic Park

For the opening of the 53,000 Greek votes envelopes that were blocked at the request of the SP, the CEC chief commissioner makes a new decision. The racing parties will only have one observer at the Feti Borova count centers. Civil society should apply until tomorrow at 12:00, subjects up to 24:00

Celibashi cancels almost all accreditation for party observers in counting centers for diaspora votes at the Feti Borova Olympic Park. According to the decision signed and stamped today by the Chief Commissioner, it is emphasized that each of the 11 political entities in the electoral race will only have one observer accredited to the counting groups or divided by counties, while for others it is canceled.

Only accreditation and international media observers will be allowed. Observers will also be allowed by civil society, but only after applying according to the procedures. Requests must be submitted to the CEC until the following day, until 12:00 for civil societies and up to 24:00 for those of political parties.

An appeal may be appealed against this decision within 3 days of its promulgation, according to the law. This decision seems to be taken on the eve of tomorrow’s meeting, which will take place after the SP request to start counting the blocked votes of the Greek Diaspora. The SP has accused Celibashi of violating the law with the beginning of the DP’s request to block this count. The opening and counting of 53,000 envelopes from Greece can be decided tomorrow.
