5 people involved in assassination

A serious incident shook the city of Durres a few days ago, where 29-year-old Ermir Dedja was executed in neighborhood no. 18.

Investigations into the murder are discovering a well -organized criminal network, where five people involved in the incident have so far been identified, including individuals who have smuggled vehicles used by the perpetrators. Police have arrested and searched for several citizens, while one of the vehicles was allegedly provided to be used in another criminal act. Investigations are continuing in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office and international authorities to fully uncover this murder.

In-depth investigative actions for the fulfillment and full legal documentation of the murder of the 29-year-old, in the neighborhood No.18, Durres.

-Identify and arrest 2 citizens who smuggled in Albania, the vehicle used by the perpetrators and another vehicle allegedly used for another criminal event. Police find and seize the other vehicle.

-Searching for 1 other citizen, for providing the conditions and material means to commit murder and for smuggling of goods.

2 days after the incident, police identified and searched two other nationals for providing conditions and material means to commit murder.

Following the in -depth actions carried out by the investigative team, in the direction of the Durres Prosecutor’s Office, in order to clarify the authorship and circumstances of the murder of the citizen Ed, 2 weeks ago, in the Ward No.18, in Durres, based on the evidence provided by the investigation:

-The citizens were detained, 36 years old, resident in the villages of Standnur and KB, 35 years old, resident in Durres, for the offense of “Smuggling with other goods”;

-The citizen Xh. D., 33 years old, resident in Durres, for the offenses « Providing conditions and material means to commit murder » and « smuggling with other goods ».

Investigations show that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, smuggled in Albania, two « Seat » vehicles, one of which was sold and then used during the assassination of citizen Ed

Police services have made it possible to find and seize the quality of the material evidence of the other vehicle « Seat », which was smuggled for use for another criminal event.

As part of the investigation, two days after the incident, the police identified and declared wanted Albanian citizen EN, 44 years old, resident in the village of Rrashbull and Moroccan MD, 46, for the offenses of “Providing Conditions and Materials to Commit Murder” and “Trafficking in Motor vehicles”. All 3 nationals declared in search are abroad. Work continues in cooperation with partners, on their localization and capture.

In cooperation with the Prosecution, the intense actions for the full legal documentation of this event are continuing and the apprehension of the suspected perpetrators.
