48 candidates / days of Member of the Member of the Member of the Member of the Municipal Election

At the conclusion of the candidate lists, 5,975 candidates have been announced in the upcoming elections for 731 municipalities, but the total number of candidates has decreased to 5927.

LETA has already reported that four candidates have been deleted from the parties in Saulkrasti region, three candidates in Daugavpils, Ogre county, Riga and Saldus.

If at the end of April, no candidate was removed from the lists in 18 municipalities, now the correspondence is free of changes in 15 municipalities.

In addition to the previously reported two candidates have been deleted from the electoral lists in Sigulda County, but one in Kraslava and Livani.

In some cases, LETA has already reported so far. For example, the Dobele Election Commission has deleted Severina Repnikov from the list of candidates for the municipal election candidates, as he found that he did not comply with the law for applying for candidacy, namely he had pointed out the job in the municipality as a reason for the candidacy, but the Election Commission concluded that he had no certificate.

In Liepaja, on the other hand, the third number of the « Latvia Latvia » party was deleted due to the list – Alexander Valums.

The CVK explained to LETA that it does not collect information on the candidates for the deputy who was excluded.

Municipal elections in Latvia will take place in less than three weeks.
