40 new social services and 20 women employment enterprises
The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Kociu during a meeting today at Burrel to present the government’s social packages, where Prime Minister Edi Rama was present that these packages offered by the government have focusing children with disabilities, women and young people. Kociu brought to the attention of the social protection reform which began with the review and reassessment of the social and disability scheme by expanding the number of beneficiaries.

She noted that economic support was tripled for all those families who benefit from the economic aid scheme as well as other financial benefits such as subsidizing electricity bills, tuition fees, kindergarten tariffs, all covered by the state. For people with disabilities, Kochiu said that 75% of documents for the benefit of financial support have been reduced today. « We have multiplied diagnoses within disability by enabling us to really support those who need support. »

Regarding support for children, Kociu said that « we have worked together with the EU and drafted the guarantee program for children which is a program designed according to European Union standards, we will co-finance with the EU and make it possible for 100,000 children to access services across the country. »
