350 flights / day are delayed or canceled due to the threat of Ukrainian drones in Russia
Moscow Sheremetyevo airport twice stopped the arrival and departure of flights. Some of the flights were delayed or diverted to other airports. A similar situation was at other Moscow airports – Domodedova, Vnukova and Zhukovsky.
There are queues at the airports at the information stands where passengers are trying to find out the status of flight, exchange or returned tickets. Some passengers were forced to pour overnight at airports.
About 70 flights to Moscow were diverted to the Pulkova airport of St. Petersburg. The passengers of the Emirates flight Dubai-Moscow have been held in Pulkov for about six hours, after which they are told to enter Moscow on their own. The passengers of the flight Antalja-Moscow were waiting for more than seven hours until the aircraft was allowed.
Uzbekistan Airways from Tashkent and Aeroflot flight from Chelyabinsk was diverted to St. Petersburg, and passengers spent all night.
Aeroflot flight from Dubai to Moscow was diverted to Kazan.
Restrictions on airplane arrival and departure were also imposed on Kazan, Nizhnykamsk and Kirova.
