3. Police Public Run was conditioned with record participation – Cyprus Newspaper

Police Organization’s 61st anniversary celebration activities organized within the scope of celebration activities, the 3rd Police-Halk Run, 6 and 12 km in the two branches of the public with the participation of the public was conditioned in Nicosia.

The races started with the start of the Police General Manager Kasım Kuni.

At the Police-People’s Run, which was held for the third time in cooperation with the Athletics Federation, they came together around the unifying power of the police and the folk sport and raised awareness. With the intense security and traffic measures taken by the police, all athletes reached the finish line by finishing the races in a healthy way. All athletes reaching the Finish line were met by the police officials and they were presented with their participation medals.

The firsts were determined

In 6 kilometers of women, Iuliya Zozulya in women, Men Faruk Kıcım won the first place, while in the 12 kilometers of women Melda Ünal in women and Hakan Tazegül for men completed the first race. At the award ceremony of the 6 and 12 km runs held in the General Classification and 5 Age Category (Men-Male), Police General Manager Kasım Kuni, PGM I. Deputy Ali Adalıer, district and PGM-department managers, as well as the participation of the President of the Athletics Federation Ferhat Sakallı and sponsors were given awards.

Following the completion of the award ceremony, a plaque of appreciation was presented as a memory of the run.
