25 million in grants for mental health projects

The Mental Health Fund advertises for applications for the fifth time and the amount that will be awarded this year is the highest to date, or a total of ISK 25 million.

A press release states that this year special emphasis will be placed on projects related to the mental health of children and young people, which is related to the generous 3.4 million krónur gift from Skúla Helgason to the fund. The purpose of the fund is to promote mental health progress by providing grants for projects and research that can improve mental health.

Korda Samfonia received a grant from the fund, but the band creates the environment for composition for music students at the university level and people who are rebuilding their lives after various setbacks.
