25-35 new jobs created with a new shopping center
In May, a new shopping center will be opened in Selfoss, where five stores will start their operations simultaneously.
The company is the company Vigri ehf. which is owned by Hannes Þór Ottesen, who has been building up residential and industrial housing in the area for decades, said in the announcement.
Open stores are the international boutique of Gina Tricot, the bookstore Penninn-Eymundsson, the sports goods store H-store and Emil and Lína, trade in Icelandic clothing and products for children.

The commercial premises that are currently erected is opposite ÁTVR, Bonus and Lindex and counts over 1,600 square meters and contains five range of different size. It is expected that all stores that are listed will open their doors simultaneously in May.
