24 -hour service for vacationers across the country

During the summer tourist season, 36 health centers across the country, from north to south, are in full function to guarantee medical service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for all vacationers, domestic or foreign.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Kociu, announced today that medical teams are positioned and ready to respond in any case of emergency or need for medical advice, providing health care for high standards in all tourist areas of the country.

« Choose Albania for calm and safe holidays, with guaranteed health care wherever you are, » said Minister Kociu, emphasizing the importance of health safety during the summer season.

Summer health centers are located near the most frequented tourist points and beaches, guaranteeing immediate intervention in any emergency situation, as well as providing preventive and advisory services to maintain the health of vacationers.

Minister Kociu points out that the engagement of medical staff and logistical support is part of the plan of measures for the tourist season 2025, with the aim of turning any destination into a safe place for all visitors.

In addition to the health centers, national emergency will make available to vacationers 20 fixed settlements with ambulances in the most frequented tourist areas. Motoambulants will also be used, which help accelerate medical interventions while avoiding aggravated season traffic.
