2. Kaleburnu Archaeo Festival is held on Sunday – Cyprus Newspaper
The 2nd Kaleburnu Archaeo Festival, which was postponed due to weather conditions, is held on Sunday.
According to the statement made by Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality, the festival organized with the slogan “The Sun is the most beautiful place” will start at 10.00 hours and will last all day long.
Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality, İskele Municipality and Kaleburnu Archeo Festival Organization Committee will take place in Kaleburnu Village, the festival will be organized to create awareness for the historical monuments that occur in the excavations in the region, to introduce the culture and to bring the people of the region to the visitors.
The festival will include music performances, nature walks, photo shoots, travel to historical places, workshops for children, exhibition areas and informing about excavations. Stands will be opened at the festival where local products will be exhibited.
The Festival, which will be the branding of Kaleburnu Village, which has historical and cultural heritage assets, and the meeting with the world, will also contribute to the Eastern Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Research Center (DAU-DAKMAR), which carries out the project of excavations in the Eastern Mediterranean University and King Hill.
İskele Municipality and Erenköy-Karpaz Municipality invited all the people to the 2nd Kaleburnu Archeo Festival, the first project of the cooperation protocol signed on March 13.
