According to « Bild » Porsche Carrera, which was traveled by two teenagers Yannick F. and Ole S., traveled along the K116 road near Syke on Saturday, April 12 in the evening. At the corner to the right, the driver apparently lost control due to excessive speed and an accident occurred. The luxurious car pulled off the road, drove several road signs and hit the tree head -on. The vehicle stood in flames immediately after the collision, and two teenagers burned alive.

« Two passengers burned in the vehicle because the car caught fire immediately after the collision, » said Thomas Gissing, a spokesman for the police at Diepholz, quoted by « Bild ». The impact was so strong that the parts of the car, including the front wheel, were thrown to the field at a distance of up to 200 m.

Because the travelers burned down, initially the police did not know who the victims were. However, it was quickly established that they were two 17-year-olds. German media reports that there were no direct witnesses of the accident. According to « Bild », however, a car driver applied, to which Porsche was approaching soon earlier.
