17-year-old is convicted of explosive when woman was severely injured

It was early afternoon on December 17 last year that an explosive charge detonated in the gate to a multi -family house in Tyresö.

– We heard the explosion clearly. The entire balcony shook, said a woman who lives in the same staircase as the explosion occurred at DN shortly after the bang.

A woman who had the misfortune Being on the way out of the gate with its dwarf tariff suffered life -threatening injuries. Her dog suffered such severe injuries that the latter needed to be killed.

The woman has told in interrogation that the dog was her life partner and says it is awful that it is gone.

Now Nacka District Court judges a 17-year-old boy for the blast. The Court finds that the evidence-which consists of, among other things, DNA meetings on various objects and materials from mobile emptying-is convincing. The teenager is also convicted of gross negligence to bodily injury.

The boy was 16 years old at the time for the bombing. If he had been an adult, according to the district court, he would be sentenced to a long -standing prison sentence. The penalty scale for grossly dangerous destruction, for which the boy is thus sentenced, lies between six years in prison and life. Now the penalty is closed youth care for one year and six months.

A 23-year-old and a 20-year-old who is charged in the same case are acquitted for the blast itself. According to the Court reasoning, the evidence of demonstrating they have participated is not enough. However, the 23-year-old is sentenced to three months in prison for drug offenses and money laundering.
