160 former pupils target owner in large sexual offenses

About a year ago, an investigation was initiated on suspected sexual offenses at two schools in Haninge municipality south of Stockholm. When the police went through seized material, around 160 target owners who have previously been students were identified in the schools. The suspicion is that they have been sneakily filmed by a former school employee, the Prosecutor’s Office states in a press release. Crime must have been going on for over ten years, from 2006 onwards.

The suspected man has worked at several different schools in the Stockholm area. This is a former sports teacher in their 50s As in May 2024, three and a half years in prison was sentenced for abusive photography, serious child pornography crimes and sexual offenses. He sneakily filmed low -stage students on a large number of occasions, including when they changed.

A total of 110 girls, who were aged 5-10 years old when the crimes were committed, received damages of between SEK 5,000 and SEK 35,000 each.

The man’s crime was discovered During a bathing excursion in 2022. A colleague then noted that the man filmed several girls with a mobile phone when they changed.

Regarding the material filmed at the schools in Haninge, the Prosecutor’s Office states that it was not possible to show that it has been spread.

– It is important to point out that the investigation at present does not show any dissemination of the material, which we understand that there is a concern about. It has been a very extensive material and the police have worked intensively to identify as many plaintiffs as possible, says Åsa Valter.
