13th Lapta Tourism Festival begins on Friday – Cyprus Newspaper

The traditional Lapta Tourism Festival, organized by Alsancak Çamlıbel Municipality for 13th this year, starts on Friday.

A press conference was held at Heaven Restaurant today in terms of the festival to be held in Lapta on June 20-21-22.

Ataser

Lapta Alsancak Çamlıbel Mayor Fırat Ataser expressed his happiness for organizing the 13th of the festival and thanked everyone who contributed.

Lapta, the most beautiful region of Northern Cyprus with its historical, natural and cultural richness, is the place where Turkish Cypriot tourism started, Ataser said that their aim is to make Lapta a center of tourism again.

Ataser pointed out that the Lapta Tourism Festival is not only an organization organized for entertainment purposes and that their main aim is to introduce the town with historical, touristic, natural and cultural riches and local values.

At the festival, where “colorful demonstrations, concerts, fun events and surprise shows” will take place, he stated that local products specific to Cyprus, handicrafts and gastronomy will be brought together with citizens and tourists.

Mayor Ataser, Lapta’nın 3 days will host each other will host colorful activities, invited all citizens to the festival.

Nasiboglu

Following the speech of Mayor Ataser, Arda Nasiboğlu, a member of the Organization Committee of the Lapta Tourism Festival, gave information about the festival program.

Arda Nasiboğlu said that the festival will end with the concert of Merve Özbey, one of the famous artists of Türkiye after the Sultan Durusular concert on Sunday (June 22nd).
