With such a difficult intervention, representatives of the Foundation for the Protection of Animal Rights Mondo Cane had not dealt with for a long time. On one of the properties in Mała Wieś in the Rozdrażew commune near Krotoszyn, several dozen neglected, requiring dog help were revealed.

« For years, an elderly, good man looked after the dogs that was tossed or saved. In the end he exceeded him, about 100 animals without vaccinations, castration and treatment. The Lord was hospitalized, his condition is hard and he will not return to the place of residence, there is no family – there are animals left » – describe representatives of the foundation.
The situation is difficult, because the commune – although it took care of feeding dogs – has a signed contract only with a small shelter, which is not able to accept such a number of animals. Dogs are of different ages – they are puppies and older dogs, small, weighing 20 kg. The corpse was also revealed.
« They live in makeshift boxes, some are enclosed in outbuildings, some live in the burrows they dug. Dogs are not hungry, but their living conditions are tragic – the lack of veterinary care is also visible » – writes the Mondo Cane Foundation.

Help needed for animals
As added in the next post, 55 dogs were removed from the farm, and about 35 left to catch. The needs are very high – the Foundation is looking for places for animals, antiparasitic agents, fleas and ticks, wet food and money.
« All dogs need to be subjected to sterilization, preventive examinations, research towards parasites. Unfortunately, this mass of dogs includes dead dogs, birds and other crap animals, » write volunteers.
« It is incomprehensible to the fact that the hospital in which (animal owner, editor’s note) underwent various treatments, did not become interested in whether such a sick person has any care. Why was the MOPS or commune not notified? » – They wonder.
